Super Foods Green Smoothie

By special request, here’s my recipe.  Please note that this is a guide.  Some of my best smoothies are made with ingredients that I have on hand on the counter or in the fridge.    Very ripe fruits such as bananas, mangoes, pineapples, peaches, etc make delicious smoothies because their sugar content is higher, thus eliminating the need for added sweeteners.  Feel free to make substitutions using your favorite products and for example kale for the spinach.

A delicious and nutritious smoothie. Suitable as a meal replacement or snack.

Ingredients
  • 1 ripe banana
  • 1 avocado
  • 1 ripe mango
  • 1 kiwi
  • 1 generous handful of baby spinach
  • ½ cup almond milk
  • 1 scoop protein mix
  • 1 tablespoon Benefiber
  • 1 scoop Greens Superfoods
  • 1½ cups ice
Instructions
  1. Wash and peel fruits and vegetables.
  2. Prepare by cutting into chunks.
  3. Place ingredients in blender, starting with the ice.
  4. Blend until smooth, scraping sides to incorporate powders.
  5. Enjoy!
