Social media is a wonderful way to make new connections for shared interests or to develop new ones.  I was introduced to Nancy when we “meet” on a “Like” page exchange a few months back.  I peeked at her beautiful Folk Art renditions and was drawn to her Red Tomato print as I was preparing Tomato Basil Soup from the harvest of my Driveway Farmette.  I’ll include a posting about that later.

Here’s more about this Marvelous Artist from her Facebook Page:

Nancy Beardsley was a stay-at-home Mom when she found her passion for creativity. She has always loved any form of creativity and first started to paint in 1993 but did not pursue it fully at that time. She did a painting here and painting there until 2009 when a lovely friend of hers suggested she take a course or start painting again. It was that ever so soft nudge that got her going. Her art is at times abstract, spiritual. light, loving and simple and always happy. Her art is really a cross pollenization of all those things.

I’m so happy to have made this acquaintance with Nancy.  Please visit her Facebook page to view more of her work and inquire about purchases.  Be sure to “Like” her page while your there.  Psst – there’s even a wonderful Eggplant Lasagna Recipe there for you to try or at least drool over.

If you have any interesting or tasty items you would like to add to my collection, please contact me here on my website or any of the Social Media Platforms listed above.  Use the hashtag #28ShadesOfRed!
